I use a Tracker Maxima with Strike collars. Never had an issue yet. I have always found my dogs. Never lost a signal, even running Dash. Whether he is running or pointing, I still find him. I know several people that have tried the Garmin on AA Dogs like Dash, the results were disappointing to them....

If you are only going to use it to trial, then you can probably borrow one from someone at the trial. The trials I have been to are full of people willing to help the new guy. If your dog is a big running dog and goes out of sight during a hunt, then it is great peace of mind and a great tool to loc...

Everything in the bed of the truck. Dogs in kennels. Pigeons/chukars ect. in another crate.

My loft and kennels are close. I have had it this way for years, I have never had any problems with the dogs going crazy, getting too used to smells or getting bored with the pigeons.

Strait barley with grit available to the birds. The birds fly great and stay trim. They wont over eat barley.

Looks good. I have spent a lot of days this year trying new areas. Some have been good, others have not. It has been fun though, I always like getting into new spots.
