I am about to move to the DFW area from Arizona. Can anyone point me into a direction of a bird dog training lease? I want to steer away from a preserve.
My ultimate goal is to have access to the land and ability to purchase birds, and train on my own.
Is this possible?
Thanks for the input.

I will be putting better pictures up.
I had some technical problems with my computer. It deleted my original psot. I will be re-posting it later. I tried to delete this but it would not let me. I apologize for the wasted space.

Browning Citori Superlight 20 gauge O/U
I ran into a nice Browning Superlight 20 gauge O/U at a local gun shop; they are asking a little over $800. I have not read too much about this shotgun. The only thing I have been able to find online is the Superlight Featherlight. The shotgun I am looking at has fixed chokes in it. Any experiences ...

Have any of you taken any turkeys with a 20 gauge Ultralight? I just held one and really liked what I felt. The shop did not have a 12 gauge but I really like the 20. With the right shot and load, it should be able to pattern nice at forty yards, right?

Dry skin on from elbow joints?
My GSP is 1.5 years old. I noticed on her front elbows two dry patches. Is this dry skin? I have heard that it is common. It is not swollen or bloddy/"bleep". It almost looks like a scab. Will they ever heal? Should I put anything on them? Also, they do not seem to be bothering her. I attached two p...

Re: NARROWED down (two shotguns)
I believe the biggest difference in the two is that the 1187 should take at least 3" shells and the 1100 probably only takes 2 3/4" shells. This can be quite a difference maker in a 20ga gun depending on your type of hunting. What is the difference b/w the two types of shells (besides the obvious.....
