Had mine for more than a year now. Works good very simple. (which is good for me). But If I were using it with two collars I would not like it because I would forget to switcht he dogs over.
It is rugged, water proof and good for one dog.

First thing I do is take a perfectly fine pointing dog and shoot every bird it bumps, busts or chases. Then I have a flusher. Sorry Can't help my self.

IMO Retrieving style, I think, is about class, manner, and a controlled desire and intensity. Momentum is just the pure physical charge the physical speed to the object and return to master. Not sure what kind of Grouse you are talking but just go to the kind of woods or parries they hand in the kind of food sources they use look for edges for safety covers, transitional types.
