Pet travel to Canada

Hi all I'm looking for some suggestions on getting a rescue from KC to Vancouver. We have some options already but none are very good. One is KC to Houston with a 10 hr layover and then on to Vancouver the other is a drive to Winnepeg and then on. We are still looking at maybe a flight to Winnepeg f...

Re: choosing a breed. guard, point, track, pull

One thing the VDD's forget to mention is that testing is based on one test, pass/fail. A bad dog having a good day or a great dog having a bad day. Some of the VDD breeders that I've talked to have talked about their best dogs failing a test, done and over no breeding. I do believe the testing narro...

Re: Sporting Dog First Aid Kit

I'll tell you it saved my trip. I called the local vet because he was really bad. She told me to buy the pumpkin (not for pies) and feed a half can that night no kibble and half can the next morning with 1/4 cup kibble and continue his feeding of the pumpkin as needed. After having to put him up bef...

Re: Sporting Dog First Aid Kit

I'm not sure on the cost of all their items all together, just would I use all of the stuff in the bag. Some basic bandages and tape. a few topicals and a couple of circle needles an thread, and my kit ran me about $20 from the local feed and tack store and what I already had in the house. Also I ne...

Re: Shipping of a Dog Box

I moved some things once through a mover, it was fairly painless. I would find one in your area and try and set up for a return trip it might be cheaper. You \might not get a exact date as they will try and schedule you for a return trip through the area you want it picked up from.

Shop your local dealers the little extra is worth it to support small local business owners. If you want a good one that even ships some ammo for free call Rogers in Liberty,MO rogerssportinggoods.com If you haven't tried them you don't know what your missing!

Pigeons are pretty tough too. We shoot em over a mojo in the fields for some earl season warm up. You better bring 6's or bigger.

I'd like to add that I'm ok with a spoiled dog as long as they know their boundaries.

I'm heading to the lake today with a 13 week old foster, I'll have to get some and try it. She likes the water but is just a little hesitant. I better buy the big bag! I might get into them.

I'd have to say pheasant are the hardest to recover for sure and for what I've hunted the hardest to bring down dead.

I run a classic 70 but it's a little pricey. If I had a easier dog I would of stuck with the multi sport style.

Re: choosing a breed. guard, point, track, pull

In truth you can go to the pound and get a great dog, however your odds go down of geting a great dog chosing that route. The better the lines and breeder the better odds you have of getting what you want. Not to say you won't get a dud from even the best breeder. I would focus your search on a bree...

You probably don't want to get a dog from here but they have the best description and pics I've found. You might have to go into your toolbar for a translator.
