Sharon to a point it is. I used to joke that if I hunted my dogs on Sunday they would sleep until Tuesday. The problem I was seeing is after a nonstrenuous 2 hour hunt he would sleep for a day plus. I was glad to have found SOMETHING and now the difference is night and day. If someone can make use o...

You say he hunts his dogs and there could be the rub. Springers are required to be steady to flush and shot in trials. That is not a trait some hunters consider valuable. If its what you want get started by at least getting your dogs junior hunt test where steadiness isn't an issue. Then you can dec...

Have your partner lighten up on the whistle long enough so you know which problem you're dealing with. I taught my ESS whistle commands first then used the same commands with the collar tone. I rarely have to whistle now. He just hears it as a warning to avoid a nick and so he can find me as we hunt...

Hung up again today on the Federal load. Seems to shoot the target load fine and its 1200fps. Could that little difference make a difference???
Called S&W and they referred me to LSG who didn't answer the phone.
No ideas? Guess I tear it apart tomorrow.
