just keep going ive been bird hunting for over 20 years i hunt mo, ks, heck i blank all the time in mo and this is where i know coveys of quail i have gotten into before i bet i have hunted mo 12 times this year and only been in 2 or 3 coveys now ks is a diff story when i go out west phesasnt huntin...

Some friends spent almost 2 weeks over Thanksgiving hunting a 4 county area around Hill City. WIHA and some private, averaged 1 phez a day and a total of 5 quail during their stay. Good hunters and plenty of dogs too. Can't always depend on internet reasearch........not the place I'd be going..... ...

birds birds birds is the key when you get one that hits scent and learns to hook in front then you have a bird dog

are the roads still easily traveled with a little snow? I was just worried about being trapped or getting a blizzard in and then ruining the whole trip. just go it takes a ton of snow to not get around!
