Meet Keeper...! She's got a different look to her, but the kid is loaded with spunk and style. It's been really fun having a pup around again. Can't wait to see this punk grow up and start shooting birds over her.

So is it a nice pedigree? No the pedigree doesn't look good - there is a lot of unproven dogs. The dogs that are proven are too far back to be of much influence. However, the dogs that are upclose and unproven are also unknown. They could be the nicest dogs in the world that never had the chance to...

Before this turns into a Hunting dog vs. Trial Dog vs. Hunting/Trial dog..the OP asked if trials actually tested a dogs worth as a BIRD DOG...I don't know how anyone would argue that wild bird trials don't do that. A trial with liberated birds is questionable because it's obviously an entirely diffe...

Doug we bought him from Lenny as an 11 month old, we don't have any plans of sending him back with Lenny right away but if we decide to campaign him Lenny will be the first/only person I'll call.

All your questions can be answered by buying an AKC 4 or 5 generation pedigree.
Regarding your questions about the listed three dogs, from what I know none of those dogs were actually trialed but they all produced dogs that are running in trials today.
