Can't explain it but my best success is coming from the two nests containing the plastic nesting bowls. Thankfully, I haven't had to find out if DT Systems has good customer support. Hopefully, I'll never know. My hunting buddies both use Dogtra and they haven't had to get cozy with the support folks there either.

In Bill Tarrant's book he recommends using 1/2" electrical conduit. I bought some conduit today and I am gonna try building one. Hoping to help give me some leverage on my shorthair that wants to creep in on points. Bill Tarrant also says it's useful in teaching a dog to heel.
