Well, the bump hasn't returned, so perhaps it was just a sebaceous cyst. I hadn't thought that originally because of the color and lack of smell.
Like someone else mentioned, the ol girl has more to worry about trying to get her back end to keep up with her front!
Thanks

bumps with black pus discharge
i know, gross. I recently found a lump on my 14yo lab-rottie mix. It looked like it had an opening (like a blackhead). The bump was silver-grey colored and the "head" looked like scabby black color. Well, I gave it a good squeeze and a bunch of black-grey gunk came out. It didn't smell bad (which wa...

Hasn't been too much of a problem for us either. I just put a towel under her when she gets on any furniature, and wipe up the occasional drop from the floor. Haven't tried the underwear/diaper yet, but sounds like a great idea when visiting.

My dog loves them. I know I have seen it as an ingredient in dog foods, so it is safe for them to eat. I imagine this would even be great for the skin and coat since it has so many good oils/vitamins in it. Also a great source of protein (for a veggie). Bon apetit!

GSP's are really smart, but I think the hardest commands with them will be stay and heel. 12 weeks is pretty young, so don't overdo it. They are always a million miles an hour, sometimes it even seems like they are trying to go slower, but physiclly cant.
