Re: Garmin Alpha question
I am interested in the question above as well. I like the Astro and separate e-collar because you can turn a dog with the collar and actually see if he is responding. From what I gather with the Alpha, when you hit a stim button, it goes to training screen and you cannot see dog info on whether or n...

Pros and Cons for control joints in a 12x22 concrete pad? Just had a pad poured and contractor is recommending control joints cut in the pad 1" deep. Good post by RayG but I would add emphasis that you need to work up to where the dog cannot be allowed to chase them when they flush. I am pretty sure he meant that by his description of what to do when the bird flies (pick up the dog) as he is in essence describing making a dog stand flushed birds....

I am looking to build a new kennel. It'll be wood frame (insulated) on a slab and approximately 20' x 40' structure. I was initially thinking about setting the tubing in the slab and going with the in-floor heat pumped via a boiler to keep the slab warm and have the heat rise. So then, after a publi...

I ran across this as TSC today and although it is an equine product, it has a dosage for dogs:

It looks like at the dog dose it would give the same amount as a triple strength OTC G/C/MSM for humans.
