Cell Service In Canada
I'm with Consumer Cellular which means no cell service in Canada. I have an extra unlocked phone so I'm looking for a reliable prepaid SIM card which will allow for service in Canada and back to the states. Seems to be a bunch of providers out there. Anyone with experience? Thanks

Re: They finally caught him. Roysetters
I was always told one the bird is cooked it is just meat.. Seems that would make sense but maybe that is the problem Throw common sense right out the window....it's not so common anymore. It's all about authority and generating a dollar. These days it seem's less and less about protecting the resou...

Re: Kansas Info
Thanks but after further consideration I think I'm gonna focus my efforts a little further north. Looking for options around Down's and Glen Elder.

I'm considering taking a week or so around Thanksgiving to try a little quail hunting in Kansas. Mainly walk on and other public land. Probably gonna start out in the SE portion of the state? Can anyone recommend any dog friendly motels in the general area around Moline? When I say dog friendly I do...

Montana/Dakota's Help
I'm hoping to spend a few weeks in eastern Montana next fall prior to the pheasant opener hunting and exposing a few young dogs to wild birds. If things work out I'm looking at late Sept. into the first week of Oct. I'll have 5 or 6 six dogs on the truck and if at all possible I would prefer to avoi...

Montana Info
I'm making a 2 week or so trip to McClusky ND in Sept. do to some training & hunting. Most of my plans while in ND are pretty much set, as I've hunted this area several times before. I'd really like to spend 3 or 4 days hunting in Montana also, as I've never seen that part of the country. Two of the...

Re: North of the Border?
Thanks for the kind offer but I doubt I'll venture that far north and I'm really only interested in upland birds on this trip. As far as my friends having deep pockets, I was simply referring to they're ability to stay at hotels etc that are largely out of my price range. Being a retired firefighter...

To be a bit more specific, I'm looking to go no further north then the Regina SA. area, and east from there perhaps back into southern Manitoba.

Re: North of the Border?
Will be hunting for no more then 2 weeks. I've hunted northern North Dakota before as late as Dec. so I'm not overly concerned about the weather. I'm looking at area's probably no more then 100 miles into Southern Saskatchewan & Manitoba, so I wouldn't have expected a typical fall to be that extreme...

North of the Border?
I'm in the planning phase of a late Sept. early Oct. upland hunt to Saskatchewan and or Manitoba. I have plenty of dog power and really don't desire a guided hunt. I really don't care for living out of a motel and keeping dogs on the truck all the time while on these type of hunts, so I'm searching ...

Re: SHADOW OAK BO IS 2013 NATIONAL CHAMPION
Always good to hear it takes people in high places to win. I just will not believe that, as it takes away from dogs winning on their merits. So much for the best dog winning that we always hear about. I believe you are taking that comment out of context. When breeders have buyers (in high places) t...
