Re: Little help with retrieve
Spent a good amount of time on this. He will hold but it seems after he has been running and working he dont want anything in his mouth. I can even reinforce the fetch/hold with his food bowl and it works. I hate hammering on him though especially in a trial

Have a 4 year old shorthair. Been FF completely with great results. Here lately when retrieving he has been not only chewing while bringing the birds back but he will get within 3 feet and drop the bird. He has been retrieving good enough in trials been placing, but he just started dropping them now...

Training too much on pigeons?
My dog handles great on pigeons, but come brace day he does ok on quail in a trial. It seems to take some time for him to transition back over to trial birds. My question is, has anyone ever experienced training too much with pigeons and not enough with quail. Game birds are hard to come by around h...

Diamond Lamb and Rice
Just wondering if anyone has had any issues recently with Diamond dog food. I have been very happy with it for years, but now this is the second time my dog has had a bad bout with loose stools for over 2 weeks. Just wondering if this bag was from a bad batch or if its maybe a parasite. Went to vet,...

For the skeptics, we all are aware that anything on an Internet forum is quite possibly junk. The intent was not to establish a post of peer reviewed clinical data on documented canine toxicity from A to Z. Everything is taken as is and is evaluated on an individual basis. That being said, maybe th...

Went to the vet. Based on symptoms, its reverse sneezing more than likely caused by seasonal allergies. Vet told me to give him some benadryl if it lasts for a while. Had no idea. Where they located at? at customer service right when you walk in the door. just let them know you want to kennel your dog. it's nothing more than a room with 5-6 crates in it, but better then leaving your dog in the car, or at home. Well, I always say you learn something new everyday....
