Roading a Dog with a Pedal Bike

I’ve found a few different products on the market that can be attached to a bike that make the ride a little safer for the dog and the rider. I’ve used a roading harness and let the pup either pull me or heel on the side but I feel that isn’t too safe. Anyone one use one of these and what would you ...

Re: Benelli Ultra Light, Montefeltro, or Browning Silver Hunter

I was a little worried about all the post saying how hard the recoil is but went arhead and purchased it bec...

Cow Bell Training....I guess!

My 8 month old pup completely shuts down whenever I put a cow bell on him. I've tried to associate it with playing bumper, going for walks, going outside, ect. He won't even retrieve a bumper with it on. He'll just sit by my side like a goof ball. He has been shot over and has worn a beeper collar. ...

Thanks for all the great replies. After reading all the commits we've decided to wait until later. He'll be leaving for training this Saturday with all his goodies. Thanks again!!

Re: Is 5 1/2 months old to early to nueter a dog?

My vet recommended neutering starting at 5 months and no later then 8 months because he feels it helps hinder dominance problems. He feels neutering is the "off switch" that never allows those hormones to connect with the brain. My puppy is already starting the “hump” thing but otherwise he’s a pret...

Is 5 1/2 months old to early to nueter a dog?

I was hoping to nueter my pup before sending him to training. Well he's ready to go and I have to make a decison because he is only 5 1/2 months old. The breeder and the vet say sure have it done but everything i read on the boards say hold off. Should I have it done now or wait until he complets tr...

Re: Eye Dominance while shooting

I have the same issue with dominance as you do and the tom knapp site helped. After many years of shooting like this, I decided to take a shooting lesson to see if i should shoot left handed. What we found out my poor shooting was mainly due to mechanics. I had a fast swing and would often shoot in ...
