Funny thing not being mentioned is that the food trained group (c) showed more whining (begging) and the highest cortisol (stress) levels

My dog has had a sim problem. Professional cleaning cost me $500. and the dog definetly is no candidate for a raw diet. Hates raw eggs, meat, bones and raw milk LOL

many times stool problems are from overfeeding. not to say that was the prob but it is a possibility.

I agree w ez. focus on what is different in the first day of the hunt than every other day of the year.

I can certainly see using the tone on the collar for the same effect as the click and that would give you the option to use both positive and negative stimuli in the same tool - but isn't that what the collar manufacturers had in mind when they designed the tone and the instructions for use?>>>>>> h...

Nutro ultra/acana mix.

dog does well on nutro. She loves acana more than any other but its often hard to get in the area

Companies do not put something in their product that overall lessens the quality of their feed. Thats why we want to see a meat source be the main ingredient. It tells you they crave the vegetable protein and carbs contained in the digestive tract. As far as corn goes, as a carb it is as good as any. The digestibility issue with corn vs rice is a technicality. If the starch in the corn is gelatinized fully, it should not be a problem. If finances are taken out of the equation I disagree that that corn and byproducts are fine. dogs are carnivores there diet should consist of primarily meat. corn is not readily digestible and is mostly filler. by products of chicken for instance is the carcass after the meat is removed feet beaks e...
