well it turns out that I won't be able to make it out at all this year. This weekend is the only weekend I have free, then its guard drill, work for two weeks and then its thanksgiving and I am in Mankato. Guess its gonna have to goon the schedule for next year.

dogs don't like to mess thier crates. Have you tried puting her right back into the crate for a while then outside again? I have and she still does it....I think she just needs more reps like that. These are a few fabricated shotgun shell keepsakes. I like your DIY idea though. south dakota ain't no picnic this year either. We just got another 12 inches on snow on the eastern side of the state. Not sure how much that gives us for the year because I have been gone for the last 10 months but I know I came home to entirely to much on the ground that is for sure.

I do not for two reasons. One, where I hunt I can almost always see a road or my truck so there is very little chance of actually getting lost. Two, I don't know how to navigate with a topo map, I wish I did though.
