DC-30 and Dc-40 batteries on ebay. Garmin only wants you to buy they new collars and if they do no support the old one you may. Same with old tritronics, garmin not supporting them. Thank goodness for ebay as you can get used or aftermarket parts any day of the week.

Yes all good but the dog sat down. I would release the dog when the bird fell. I would let the dog get the bird from either the ground or the pup. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware that it was a one man show at Gun-X. I used the alfa at a training day and it is too heavy for me. Had a kimar and it lasted less than 100 rounds. Will make due with the 22 pot iron gun until things change and there are gun x to buy.

These are public domain maps and will last forever. I get about 11 states on a 2 GB micro SD card with room to spare. Ebay is full of people selling these maps for around $20. I think $80 would be a supper buy. Buy a #4 blade and you have all you need. I never had much luck with the clip on guards.

The oster A 5 is great clipper but they will get hot. I got one from a woman that cuts for a living for $25 but the housing is cracked but they work great. Ebay is a great place to shop for used oster A5 and blades for clippers. You also can get parts for this model but they are not cheap.

The Kilmar 209 is good for the money and primers are $4.50 a 100 but it is bigger and heaver than the cheap 22 guns.

My female is 29.8 lbs and is 2 years old this May. The 60 +lbs brittanies I have seen look nothing like the breed standard and I beleive are a recent man made dog. Might call then an American Brittany Verson # 2.

I think I will take the 6 nipples out and clean them up, remove all pipe sealant and try either pvc cement or silicone sealant. With time I think I can get this right.

Well I got the nipples and installed them in a 3/4 pvc pipe and am having a problem with geting a good seal between nipple and pvc. I have a JR and we tested the range and it will work out to about 150 yds at most. Other than the range problem we like the collar. We call our JR the dog park collar and use it at the dog park and in the house only. We will buy a pro 100 or 200 when we ever get the funds.
