The name game
Hi guys, we are soon getting our Vizsla puppy. It's gonna be a girl! We have a list of calling names but need an AKC to be registered name for her as well. It doesn't have to do anything with her calling name. The only thing it has to have in it is "Tru" at the beginning. The kennel is Tru Vizsla's ...

Re: bark collar
Don't like the electric ones that shock a dog. We had the one that sprays for our Foster Brittany last summer. Worked great!

Re: Tick War is On! Questions
We have Frontlife and Matt never had a Tick - ever! We adopted our Brittany 2 weeks ago and they used K9 too I guess and he brought 3 Ticks inside the house! We gonna switch him to Frontline as well. Another thing you could try is an Amber collar. Heard good things about it http://www.amberstonepets...

Because that dummy stuff isn't working out that well I thought of something different. I would like to try tracking but don't really know how to start. Any ideas? Can anybody recommend a good book?
Thanks

Re: What dog food are you using currently?
No Problem :D Natures variety is really pricey but Matt tried it and he loved it. My boss (she offers dog food at her store) gave me a sample pack. He really loved it but I guess he likes everything as long as I put it in his bowl  Some of our customers feed their dogs north west naturals. The...

Re: What dog food are you using currently?
I know exactly what i'm doing. And to make sure he gets all the nutrition and protein he needs I'm maybe gonna feed him 50% raw + 50% dry. Well see... For those who don't know how to feed a raw diet, there are a few companys that sell meat that is allready mixed with fruits, veggies and all that stu...

Re: New member from Illinois
Thanks guys. Sounds good. And there is nothing bad about enjoying a beer or an other adult beverage from time to time. But I don't like to get drunk every weekend and the next morning I don't even remember how I got home. The girls I know over here are pretty much like that. They like to go to clubs...

Good Brittany breeder?
HI, in my welcome thread I said that I would love to add another dog to our family and we can't decide between a Brittany and a Chesapeake Retriever. I already find an awesome Chessie breeder and searched the web for hours to find a good Brittany breeder that is reputable, has healthy dogs with good...

Re: What dog food are you using currently?
We had EVO Chicken, EVO Beef, ACANA Praire and now we feed him Fromm surf and Turf grain free dryfood. I think we gonna switch to Raw diet after summer or at least 50% dryfood / 50% raw diet.

I put the dryfood in a plastic container as well. Bought it at petsmart and they have many different sizes and styles.

Re: New member from Illinois
Hi ezzy,
I live in Hanover park. That's 1,5 hours east from your place. Not too far though so I could come over some day for sure.
You have Brittanys? That's awesome! How many? Maybe this could help me deside if our next dog will be a chessie or a brittany. I can bring my camera too
