I would not worry about it. I too have train lots of dogs and seen them go right pass the birds. I have also seen other dogs do the same. Nice group of birds. You are very fortunate to have such a good area. I am down south and the bird population took a big hit. I have hunted the desert area very hard and never saw one chuckar. Very few quail too. I have had several good spots over the years but now they hardly hold any birds. Seems ...

Birds in the Crocker Springs area by Fellows Ca. Green Horn Mountain has some quail, this is toward lake Isabel. I saw a couple of coveys while I was cutting wood this year. Over all a pretty bad year. There are some birds out there but very few.
Good Luck.

I would hate to have an xray of my dogs stomach. He has eaten all kinds of stuff. And it was't my fault. It is just a pup being a pup. He turned out fine. I am sure it is just a phase that the pup is going through.

Good looking dog, the Shorthair are very smart dogs. I have trained several dogs but the Shorthair really stands out. I also have a 7 month old and I am using him on quail and chucker. Let see Lead or No Lead. Since the 1800 people have been using lead in there guns for a very long time. I have never heard of anyone dieing from lead poisoning from a bullet in which was used to kill a deer, elk or other game. What about all that lead in the paint back in the 60s. I am here today, a...
