Re: Preparing pup to go to trainer
In October I wouldn’t send a dog to a trainer, it’s hunting season across the US and you will be able to get the Dog on birds more, run the dog longer, excercise yourself and build on it for the following four months... just sayin. Take a vacation and use the money for gas.

Re: caveat emptor
Deposits are usually percentages in business. $400 pup with a $100 deposit is 25% ... $1000 at 10% is a hundred which is more realistic as far as risk vs reward goes. For your deposit to be refunded after the change, you are at the breeders mercy lol . it’s not worth going after it if you factor in ...

Re: caveat emptor
I would think it is a difference in how pups are raised from day one in which will let someone know if a dog can go home at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 weeks old. I say this because it’s easy for someone to project an image that they know about these pups if they are raised outdoors, A hands off kennel dog appro...

probably a bad idea. You will have people put themselves and dogs in danger unless they are familiar with the country. southern Arizona is probably the most dangerous place to hunt. You have a dog from a hunting dog breeder. It can do what it is capable of doing, just like the rest of them. Nothing really close up that someone can put a finger on and say they have seen that dog run... I train my dogs to stand until released... Nothing about a wild bird running confuses her. If ...

Crate him in the truck at work..... Crate him at home, crate him when you feel like it, add a bark collar if he gets loud. All should pass . Give him a bone in his crate if he is calm and you feel like it. He's not a one year old child.... He's a dog and should be treated like one.

I have had a cut and swelling on the toe of my dog. It healed over and would swell up every few weeks and since nothing came up on X-ray the vet said it would be 500 to cut it open and check for something inside. I bought a scalpel and cut it open, Squeezed and puss and a stick or weed popped out. B...

Best way to do it is have someone deal with the VA for you. A lot of groups out there will fill all the forms out, file it, and brief you on what you can get as far as benefits. I had this done prior to discharge and it saved me so much time and frustration that I see people go through with the proc...

Tac got around with a covey of sharpies (today brace 10)

When they get older... if you do a good job while they are young you can have as much time off as you want. I haven't worked mine more then a handful of times since march. I don't see there being a problem in the coming trial season. Just conditioning.

Btw two derby points is all that goes towards his FC. They don't add amateur derby towards the FC if you have open points also.

If someone has a FDSB pedigree up close you can see how much his offspring and their offspring did.... Just don't have him that close in kimbers pedigree.
I don't think it was clown that people bred for but his sir instead.

Try to stay away from white homers... At least where I am at they do not last long. They lack all the camo they will need to survive the hawk attacks. At 900 yds I doubt any dog is under control. If you NEED to be in CONTROL of your dog, you will never be comfortable with a dog at 900 yards. If you have an harmonious relationship with a dog that wants to work for and with you, you will be comfortable with your dog wherever it may be. When mine ra...
