Breaking on the flush is an important factor to eliminate if you want to do the higher levels within NAVHDA or AKC trials/hunt tests. You will not be successful at the higher levels of those two organizations with a dog that breaks on the flush.

Sorry for not posting sooner. My V's get this almost on a constant basis especially the older one. Yes it is not food related, just a reaction to vegetation. I have used Technu which is a poison ivy scrub. Follow directions and do it after they get done in the field. The stuff works.

So I just wanted to give you guys some updated photos of my work. It is neat to still have some of the first batch calls just to remind me where I started. The biggest kibble I have fed my dogs also had the biggest forty pound bag. Kcal per cup was around the same as the food I feed now which is smaller both in size with the kibble and forty pound bag.
To me, Kcals per cup ME at 400 or above correlates to 30/20....
