Re: To Old?

Yes she has a hunting back ground, father came from windswept in Missouri if I’m not mistaken.

Both parents were bird dogs, but the breeder was more of a duck hunter so they did more retrieving.

she is good on her here command but I need to reinforce it

To Old?

At what age is it to late to train your dog? I have an almost 2 year old female that I got as a pup with the intentions of training her. Life got busy and I am at a place now where I have more time. Before I start working up to get her in the field, is it to late to make a good bird dog out of her?

Just curious if anyone has had or has issues with cats trying to get birds from your loft? I have an issue with a few cats in my area that seem to frequent my yard and wanted to make sure before I made a loft that they are secure from those threats.

The male I that we had, had a similar issue. We would feed and feed him and couldnt keep weight on him. Switched to Annamet performance and he did good. That became to difficult to get in my area at a resonable cost so we went to Diamond EA.... he did good on that as well.

@Vonz, thats crazy. Is there any way to tell if thats happened? would a vet be able to tell? I would hate for her to come in and me not know it, then some how she ends up with an ooops litter.

Deworming is always the answer from the client but 95% of the time it is truly not due to worms.
