Heated kennel pads
Has anyone had any experience with the heated kennel pads? They seem to be little pricey for the ones made for outdoors. I know the hound heater is probably the most popular but the pads seem like they would work good.

This is exactly why I posted this.. its an awesome book but never hear any one recommend it.. I strongly advise anyone who ask for good sources for training, novice or not, to buy this book among other videos.. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this way..

I would test young if your pup will get out and search a bit,.. Some dogs mature slower and would not be ready so 12 mos would be fine too.. The only thing is that by 12 mos some dogs have had a lot more training than would be expected in NA. With the way a pup of mine was whelped and local chapter ...

Hotdogs are also good... Drag them on the ground .. Best on a hard surface so you can keep track of your line.. Do it straight until they stop tracking and just go to the end.. Then start making turns.. Once the know what the worx track is.. I switch to a few birds..

That.depends on the pup.. You have plenty of time, let him be a pup for now and play with him.. I would say depending on the dog you could introduce around 6 mos.. Again some you shouldnt put pressure on until a year old or so..
