I'm new to FT's and I only run NSTRA but any and all advice is helpful and welcome to me. The judge is probably just trying to help you understand dIfferent aspects of the game so you'll understand everything to the fullest extent quicker than you would without his help.

I routinely hunt two Brittanys at the same time. They have different running styles and so each covers ground that the other might miss. It also allows me to cover a lot of ground. When you have one dog, you naturally have to have a second one to keep the first one company. Then when you have two dogs, a third is no big deal. When you have three dogs, what's a 4th? The fifth dog is no different than the fourth.... HOLY COW! I only have 2 and that's EXACTLY how I feel already!...

I made the mistake of teaching my dog sit and stay before whoa. So when I say whoa he stops, sits, and stays. I can easily see how he connected all 3 of these in his head. My fault as a trainer.
