My impression is that you have a very well bred Brittany. Microdot (HOF), NLB ( will be HOF if not already), Tejas Iron Mike, and Evil Roy are all very nice bloodlines. Where did you get your pup from?

RIP puppy boy. You were loved, you were a lot of fun and laughs, there's no doubt in my mind you were well on your way to becoming a phenomenal bird dog. In the short time we had you, you became apart of our family forever. Life just got a lot more dull, you were taken far too soon. We will miss you...

We stopped south of Dodge City to let the dogs run a field, stopped at Montana Mikes so Jimmy coul...

Do you think that maybe since SoDak usually has an outrageous number of birds that they're judged on a higher standard than all other states and considering any other state that have a ton of birds and are just down on SoDak standards? If that makes sense lol

Sounds like Silky is trying to let the pup know that no matter how much bigger than her it gets, she's still the boss. If your shorthair doesn't show any aggression to other, bigger dogs, then I don't think the problem is with it. And ol Silky may just bite off more than she can chew and learn who t...

It's always worth it. One bird in the bag is better than 100 planted birds. I'm headed to Kansas for a 5 day hunt, I plan on puttin a lot of miles on the truck and boots, and hunting hard from sun up to sun down.
