duck problems
I took my dog duck hunting for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I kept he duck and froze it for later use. I tried to get him to retrieve it for me, he did after a while but he wouldnt pick it up without chewing it. And he wouldn't hold it very well. I'm just wondering if anyone can help. He's...

Yes i have but it had nothing to do with the e collar I started to work with a profesional trainor. I havnt really used it much because every tim ei do i mess it up so im going to wait until i know how to do it.

I've been there before and most of the birds are good but some of them have a little trouble getting in the air. If he does try to catch a bird what would i do and how do i stop him.

I think one of the only reasons people use pidgeons is because they are small and non intimidating(Ussually). Pretty much just so the dog dosnt get beat up and scared of the birds.

I did force fetch with my dog and he is great.From wht ive seen THe only thing it changes is his desire to retrive (in a good way). Would say that track would be the only one you cant force your dog to do. But i havent done much compared to alot of you guys.

Black lab. Right now he is a little way past force fetch (RIght past a year). He likes guns he not shy of them at all. Yes we get some snow.

Its my first time taking my dog out. Were going to a phesant ranch for work stuff and I want to make sure that he has the most sucsessfull day I can give him. Yes I have. I coulden't tell if it was working on my fingers so I put it on my neck. It didn't feel good.

Do pigoens wing feathers grow back?
Quite a while ago I got some pigoens to train my dog and I trimed all the birds wings so they didnt get away. But now I need birds that can fly farther than I can throw them.

He used to really love his canvas bumper. But then I started to use birds and now he won't take his old canvas one or his new plastic one. So you think I spoiled him on the bird or somthing like that.

I have a 8 month old lab. And I got him a knew bumper because he woulden't retrive his old one. But this one is even worse all he does is chew on it and smell it what should I do?

I have a 8 month old lab. And he chews on the pigeons every chance he gets. He also jumps up and tries to take them out of my hands no matter what I do. Any advice would be very helpful.

I have a 8 month old black lab. And he always trys to chew on the pigeons. I have stoped him as soon as I can. I don't want to shock him because then he wont even go to the bird. What should I do?

Ok. I have a 8 month old black lab. He was fetching pefectly at 5 months. Then he just decided to stop doing anything I would tell him to do. I got on here and asked what I should do. I was told to take it slow and only do a couple fetches a day and work on sit, come ect. I did that for a while but ...

I have a couple bumpers, check cord, leash, whistle,shock collar (im not using), upland bird scent(havent used),2 pigeons(If I need more I can get them pretty easy.). I reading (very very close to done) Tom Dokkens retriever training. Im am willing to do pretty much anything to train him.

geting him to listen
My dog drake was doing great with retreving and comands but latley he hasnt been listning very well and today he would just sit there when i would give him any comand at all. I just dont know what to do can anyone give some helpful advice?
