Take a five gallon bucket and measure 4to 5 inches up from the bottom of the bucket, draw a line around the bucket and drill several 11/2 to 2 inch holes evenly spaced above the line around the bucket; remove the lid off of the bucket and put in feed, and replace lid. I must be mistaken. but a meadow lark is not a game bird and you will be called on a delay of chase if one does go up. I bet money on it. If one does go up and the dog chases? Or, if one does go up and the dog acts like nothing happened and continues forward? If the latter, sounds like you need bet...

Transition the thing that works to the cue you want. The new cue is given followed by the old cue. With enough repetition, the dog will anticipate the old cue. Then you continue until you get reliability. Huh, I do not follow, what is the old cue, the new cue? Honest, I really am smarter than most ...

IMO, the momentary buttons are useless. Even if you use them, you can press the continuous and let go, it makes it a momentary stimulation. Most e-collar training that I know of counts on the varying level of continuous stimulation. You press the button until the dog exhibits the trained behavior. ...

Maybe you should stop calling them Pointing labs then. Save people the confusion. Maybe use point as a verb instead of an adjective. They aren't allowed in Pointing dog Field Trials, as PLs are not a pointing breed.
