About your only option is the Remington 700 Long Range Hunter. Remember if you go the rebarreling route, you'll need the stock altered also (or a new one). The Columbia ones last maybe four seasons before loosening up. On the plus side, you don't have all the chaff on your shells that you get from having them in your vest pocket, thus keeping your gun cleaner. I have always found the feel of a Ruger to be bulky/chunky. It's weight supports my perception and not what I enjoy in my forays afield. 'They are all great guns, I have a preference toward the Red Label, which doesn't have the cheap engravings you see on the others (-Black Onyx). If you get a Beretta stay away from their XTRA wood.

I can't think of one advantage a 28 has over a 20. A sub 5# gun is great to carry, if you never have to shoot the thing......
