it depends. What kind of dog? What kind of hunting? Are you going to train alone or with someone? Are you going to hunt her alone or with other dogs? Where will you be training? Do you have access to wild birds? How about raising quail or pigeons? What kind of temperament does your dog have? Most li...

I can't say for sure, but I think it's just the receiver that is the part that can't be shipped from seller directly to buyer. And breaking up the parts and shipping them separately would probably be more expensive than having the buyer find a local FFL to handle the transaction. I'm not sure any le...

the only dog I ever had prior to my llewellin pup was a dalmatian, so I know where you're coming from. I loved that dog dearly. Since I do 90% of my dog training alone, I've quickly realized that I need to get some bird launchers. But since my pockets aren't as deep as I wish they were, I've come to a dilemma... I can only afford one remote launcher or two or three manual launchers. I realize there is a great advantage to us...

I'll be the first to say that my opinion on this doesn't count for much. But I think that 49 days (7 weeks) is a good baseline for the earliest you should pick up a pup due to physical development. The length of time that you wait beyond that is more an issue of socializing, which can be handled per...

half the reason I'm thinking of using one is because I know she'll want to get in and out of the water every 20 minutes and having a handle to pull her back in the boat would be a lot safer and easier than without.
