My favorite, he wheeled it around and locked up sitting in the snow..the bird is in that dark spot right in front of him..or the bird is that dark spot..cant really tell. The hen flushed from right in front of his nose. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g231/Vizslaguy/12-23-2007-01.jpg A couple retr...

A few points on Nebraska Ringnecks
My go to dog is out for the season with a torn ACL so my pup has had to pick up the slack...he is coming around id say. He is really starting to crank that head and point from aways out. Cant beat a point on a NE Ringneck. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g231/Vizslaguy/12-23-2007-11.jpg http://i57...

My point was why does everyone say the SH,MH dogs are not the dogs to go to???? Why does everyone say that "OH the FT dogs are the best to go to"? That just isn't so. I've seen good FT dogs and bad FT dogs. I've seen good HT dogs and bad HT dogs. I've seen plenty of FC's that couldn't get a MH titl...

NE Vizsla, just out of curiosity, can you tell me what they do with the meat off the coyotes? I've always wondered if they eat it? I'd feel awful odd eating a dog! :D Rowdy They dont eat them...they take the dogs to the local fur buyer at the end of the day. We got mange real bad around here these ...

Depending on the weather I am going to go out with my dog around the Beatrice area tomorrow morning. I was just wondering if you guys thought that I should buy some boots for my dog and use them. Didn't know if all of this ice and crunchy snow would be hard on his feet or not. Also, since we are su...

to me you make it sound like its no big deal to have a MH dog The impressive dog, however, at least IMO, is the dog that can DO BOTH and he carries both titles. 8) But again, JMHO I agree with that 100% I own a MH that just like you stated..does not have the ground speed to make a FT dog..he will b...

Both of my Vizslas use the k-9 Kondos and they seem to like them. I live here in Nebraska and its gets pretty darn cold and they seem to stay nice and warm inside. They love to lay on top when its nice out. Oh and another plus is they are chew proof.... minus the wood roof of course..so far so good,...

Kiki it's simple. You don't have to back through another dogs point, flush, kill, and retrieve to achieve an FC. You do have to for MH. In MH you cannot collar your dog away from a back and continue on. When you have to go from one to another it is more trianing to a higher level. I was lucky, I di...

The winnings can help pay for his tranny ?? That is one of the problems that comes along with the job he chose. I didnt realize the handler should get the prize money as well if he or she wins and there is money at stake. I have not seen a handler do this before in the tests i have been to so im not sure if its right or wrong or if it matters, sounds like a whoever is judging call.
