Re: Yildiz Shotguns.

At that price point I would strongly suggest looking into a Lanber shotgun. You can find them at www.cdnninvestments.com. Download the catalog. Lanber is a better gun. I would pass on the Stoeger as well (personal experience). http://lanberusa.com/safety.html http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ http://w...

http://www.victordogfood.com/ Your going to get alot of opinions as to what is a good feed. Feed the best that you can afford and the dog does well on it. Whether that's Tuffy's, Loyall, Eukanuba, Iams, Purina Pro Plan.. whatever. Pro Pac..Diamond you get my point. Any consolation my pup just came b...

You do realize that recall was for CAT Food don't you?
Whoopsy!! Saw Purina One and figured it was dog food!!

Regardless, like the feed dogs always did good on it but at almost $40.00 for a 37.5 lb bag I can find a better feed at that price.

Re: Diamond Pet Foods Recall

Only 4 bags of food have tested positive for Salmonella out of nearly 6 million bags produced during the recall time period. Out of an abundance of caution, we voluntarily recalled a broad amount of dry dog and cat food to be sure our customers and pets are safe. Only samples of the following three...

Re: Question about training at Kelly Farms

Martin, I would specifically ask Kelley Farms where they allow 4 wheeler travel. Some fields (east side) have a two track surrounding so it would be feasible for 4 wheeler travel. I have seen several people use 4 wheelers when training out their so just ask what their policy is. The St. Croix Chapte...

Re: Does the German VDD Registration have hunt requirements?

A VDD registered dog is a Drahthaar and the registry is the same. Any testing done in Germany is the same as VDD-GNA (group North America). Minus the Hegewald which is a test held in Germany.
In other words you should find scores for VJP-HZP and VGP..among other things.

Re: Wirehair Puppy question

Tricky question. You should be able to tell if the pup is going to have more coat just by looking at it and getting your hands on it. Which buy the way more coat doesnt equal proper coat. Some people (like myself) prefer a tighter shorter coat. Regardless, get your hands on the pup. Look for proper ...

redman, You aren't going to see a difference right away it will take some time. What I would do is take him off the Diamond High Energy and switch him to Diamond performance (30/20). If you have any Pro Plan left I would mix that in gradually with the Diamond Perfomance. Around here I can get the Pe...

Was having the same problem as you. Check where the (2) wires plug into the receiver on the launcher, mine had come loose. The height at shoulder varies from around 61 to 68 cm for males, and 57 to 64 cm for females. The coat is generally wiry, and tightly fit with a thick under wool. This coat was developed to pr...
