Re: O/U question
also what are the best chokes to use on a O/U for pheasant hunting I have a pointing dog and most of my shots are close. I shoot IC in the 1st and Mod in the second. If you want, you can use Mod in both barrels you will just have to buy another choke. If I was going to hunt over a flushing dog, I w...

This is what I use as well. I wish I could find some 5 shot.nj gsp wrote:I've settled on Winchester Super-X High Brass with 1-1/8oz of #6. This load patterns well out of all of my 16 gauge guns, and I use it for pretty much everything all season long.

Re: best turkey loads
I use my 10ga with Winchester Supreme® Double-X® High Velocity Turkey in #5 shot. It has the best pattern in both barrels on my O/U. When I used my 870 both Winchester and Hevi Shot. Both patterned well.

Update: I can for sure say it was the Diamond dog food that gave my pup the gas. After she was done with the small bag of Iams I put her on a small bag of Nutro puppy, no gas. I figured I would try the adult food as recommended in this thread. I bought a 20lbs bag of the Adut Diamond food. Three day...

I bought a 07 F-350 with the V10. After all my calculations it came out on top over the diesel. The only thing that hurts is the $100+ fills at the pump. But it would be worse with the diesel since in my area it is generally .50-.70 cents more per gallon. My order for heavy duty trucks would be: 1. ...

Puppy Gas? after research.
I have been researching on here about dog gas/farts. The info I have been reading says it might be the dog food or eating fast. My puppy has been on the same dog food, Diamond Puppy, since i got her. She is now 10 months old. She started getting gas around the end of October. She eats extremely slow...
