Re: Most Famous EP Bloodlines Still Readily Available?

Ever line needs a dosage from other lines. The one thing to always remember that winning kennels bred multiple litters, have a program that is proven for the dogs that they bred(socializing, developing, training and feeding) and know things about the line that is shared within a tight circle. Most o...

Re: Most Famous EP Bloodlines Still Readily Available?

Honky Tonk Attitude popularity rose due to the split in relationship between Scott Miller and Gary Keel. If it wasn't for this we would have been talking about High View Tribute, High View Nickle, Turbo or High View Jake. The three dogs that was sold becuase they where not like was Honky Tonk Attitu...

Re: Do dogs have a sense of Morality

It's takes a frontal lobe for morality and dogs lack that. Often times people begin to put human qualities onto animal's learned behavior. Any behavior can be learned by patterns, repetitive, rhythmic and relational activities, this is true for both animals and humans.

Re: Proven Dogs - Biddability or Training ?

Any action that is not an instinct is training. Biddability is not an action that can be seen but rather nothing more than the ability to be trained. If you can witness it, it is training. Ezzy So if an observer sees more training he/she sees more biddability? Can a high level of training make a fa...

I own Maple Mountain kennels and only linebred Honky Tonk Attitude direct sons and daughters, at our kennel we Only hunt and breed dogs that find the most birds. We go to hunt birds not our dogs. These are some of the nicest pointers you will get your hands on. When someone beats HONKY TONK ATTITUD...

Re: Sportdog TEK 1.0 LT Combo GPS Tracking and E Collar

I have used them all and have several sit around the house. When it comes to E-collars, TT will be what I carry in my holster. Also, I still a big fan of radio telementry. I still using my tracker and I have a brand new one on standby. SD collars are cheaper but because I train for the public, relia...

The other issue is with the AFTCA, one of there rules are solid barrel guns be permitted at an event. If the club is affiliated with AFTCA, which provide the insurance than we had to comply with the rule. I was ok with the rule change due to eventually there will be an issue with shooting birds in a...

Foot Hunting and Foot training is the only event that aids in developing of a good foot hunting dog. The field trial venue is the activity you and your dog participate in to decide just how good they are at being what you wanted them to be.

Sounds really complicated, just enter the dog, pay the entry fee and let the judges placed them accordingly. Who is there and what they have done has little to do with what is about to happen. If your dog is prepared than turn loose and handle your dog to best of your ability and have as much fun as...
