9 month old isn't intersted in wing on a stick

I have a 3 month old female that after her walks we play for 15+ minutes with the wing on a stick. Your female loves it and points and performs like I want. My issue is with our 9 month old male. He could care less about the wing on a stick. When he does show interest he just wants to jump at it and...

Re: Opinon: SD-400 or TT Sport Junior G3

I'll second the TT G3 Sport Basic. I started with the SD400 and was EXTEMELY disappointed! If fact I was so disgusted with their product I will NOT buy any of their stuff. SD400 has a small range and you will have to turn it up to get any type of stimulation. After just a few DAYS using the TT G3 Sp...

Re: Opinion on Sportdog collar?

Maybe I got a bad one, but I would say DO NOT BUY THE SPORTDOG 400! The range on it is inaccurate and for the money you can get a better result with a Tritronics unit. I just bought a Tritronics G3 Sport Basic and have had tremendously positive results with it in just the few days we have trained wi...

Re: Anyone in Az.

Ultracarry i'm lucky enough to be 17 miles to the west of the fire, which for the most part is away from all the smoke(we have had 2 smokey days on the property). However because I work for the state I still have had to work in it. So yes the sky IS blue, the clouds(not the smoke clouds) look fake, ...

Re: Rolling in his kill.

Killing chickens is not habitual for him. This is the first time he has done it. He for whatever reason follows my youngest daughter EVERYWHERE. So it's not like he is being left alone to wreak havoc, when he is out and aqbout he is normally on the property. we have horses and cattle but he doesn't ...

Re: Rolling in his kill.

We can't really contain him, other then barbed wire fences there isn't any fencing around. We live on 20 acres and our property is the smallest in the area. Everyone here knows Felon and my son(it's his dog) went out tonight to talk to the neighbors about tonights incident. Everyone agreed not to sh...

Rolling in his kill.

We have an 7 month old GSP named Felon. he has the some of the basic obedience trianing but we mostly have allowed him to be a puppy. The issue is he wants to roll on to dead animals when he finds them. To my knowledge he has done this three times, once with a deer, once with a decomposed cow and to...

Re: Wife and a second dog?!

We have one 6 month GSP right now. I started talking to my son about getting a second puppy a couple months ago in the presense of my wife and the conversation always ended with "we are NOT getting a another dog" from her. So instead of easing into something like I normally would I just sent a depos...
