Re: Suggestions for a first shotgun?
apparently nikegundog has deep pockets or an aversion to functional, inexpensive shotguns. since he has no suggestions for the gentelman on what to purchase we can only assume that he might be suffering from a touch of jealosy in his inability to down doubles while reloading a pump gun vs. just sque...

Re: Suggestions for a first shotgun?
I have a supernova in 12ga/28" that is a little heavy to carry around in the woods but makes a great waterfowl gun. I bought my 12y/o daughter a 500 combo in 20ga all blinged out in camo for less than $400. I love the slug barrel on that piece. comes with adjustable iron sights and the receiver is p...

I must be a bumpkin because I'm sitting here thinking about my favorite go to gun and nobody has even mentioned it! What about the good 'ol mossberg 500? I've dropped them in the mud, abused them and it just keeps on firing. love the thumb saftey too!

Re: HELP! 3y/o GSP rescue constantly whining
thanks for the input Casey. I was concerned with the whining because he is quiet at home until he has to go out. As for his history, all I have to go on is third hand info. we didn't get him from a "rescue" per say. A co-worker found him in an ad. the original owners were moving and didn't/couldn't ...

HELP! 3y/o GSP rescue constantly whining
My GSP constantly whines when I take him out to the park or the family farm! We have had him for about three months now and he has calmed considerably in our home and out in the yard. But he still gets all pumped up and whines when we take him out. I am five weeks into a basic obedience course with ...

newly adopted 3yo GSP "give" issues
I adopted a handsome male GSP from a third party about 3 months ago. From what we were told he has been a house dog all of his life. I am three weeks into basic obedience and he is top of his class. He will retrieve bumpers like theres no tomorrow. as many times as i can throw it he will retrieve it...
