I suppose you could call it self hunting, but my ESS will go crazy chasing anything that is flying over around or near the yard. anyone else have a dog like this? How and what can i do to stop this i personally cant stand it

It was a few posts ago but get yourself an invisible fence. they are amazing. take the time to train him to the fence and get him running around the yard. I run my springer on one and love it. Thanks everyone. Yeah i didnt figure a vet trip was needed, but thought i would ask anyways. It never hurts to get a second opinion and i would hate to be the guy that screwed up my pups feet forever being macho itll heal guy needless to say she wore a sock to keep her foot covered up this morning.

Yeah thats kind of what i figured. it is not cut on the pad more like the skin between her toe and the large part of her pad. she is going to be off of it until it heals up...

I am very familiar with Cesar. There is a lot he does well, but there are some things he does that result in "shut down" of the dog, which LOOKS like the dog is behaving, but the dog is actually in a very tense state. My reasoning here is that ideally one wants the dog to be relaxed and comfortable...
