See what happens, a bit. Maybe you'll luck out like we did. My cat beat the ever living crud out of a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Like... the cartoons you see, where the dust is flying and such? That was what happened. Blood everywhere. The cat owned that dog the whole time we dogsat. I thought we'd have t...

Help me be smart with trash breaking. Dog is new to the collar. She's conditioned to wear it and I've just started this past week overlaying it on the checkcord. My thought is that trashbreaking her right now is stupid but the darn animal just put a hole in the drywall to get to the cat poop....

I run a S&W M&P in 40 for my combat handgun.
I'm jonesing for a nice 1911 but the low round count has put it low on the priority list. I might trick it out as a race gun if I got it.

The firearms in question are not military weapons. FYI the M&P that Smith and Wesson stands for MILITARY & POLICE. They are produced in semi-auto handguns and on AR Platforms. The only difference is our civilian models are semi-auto and not fully auto, but can be converted if you put your mind too ...

For those of you that are against any type of reform, what do you suggest we do? Nothing? We don`t have a problem here? It is our imagination tricking us? No. Do I think people should get training? Yes. That's why I offer NRA classes and personal instruction at cost, or free. I think it's critically important. But it should not be required. Hi all My 9 month old Britt just came into heat. Usually her outside time is in our large back yard with a six foot privacy fence. My girl is not a fan of loose leash. We've had success with the half hitch. Also, carrying a treat in your hand around your belly helps. If she thinks she's going to get a nibble, she'll stick right by my side. Don't have to do it all the time, just sometimes.

Pretty similar... I was planning on doing this training old skool, sans ecollar and stuff, due to cost. I'd already begged husband into letting me get a dog, after all. But the other day he was like "Wouldn't it be safer if...?" and I was like "Yes, yes it would!" So I got the green light.
Re: Water
I've tried the getting in the water with her thing, and this definitely predates her jump off the dock, hahaha. We'll see how the golden works, thanks for advice!
Water
How do you handle a pup who hates water? At five months old, Kodi still abhors water, rain, and sprinklers. She'll wade up to her knees fine (especially if there's a cheese poof in it for her), but no further. She can swim well - as we discovered when she leaped off the boat dock thinking that water...

We had a lot of trouble with nipping too. Like you, nothing was working. What eventually worked for us was a combination of time and taking her to play with other dogs. I guess the dogs teach that nipping is bad better than I can! Also, she got older and better able to learn right and wrong.
