Yes, that's a GoPro... I clamped it to the bill of my hat .. haha

appreciate the compliments, Buster is a real go getter in the field and a total couch potato at home.

Great idea ... would love to hear about hunting on the Emerald isle.

I'm in the Chicago area, but my parents are from the "Old Country" (Dad is a Donegal man and Mom is from Leitrim)

I'll be following your tweets !!!

Re: IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!!!

1 week to go... I'm jazzed. It's been too hot to do any field work with Buster, so we've been playing at the lake:

Re: IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!!!

Will do, there are always places to duck hunt, I am sure Joe or me or someone else can always help you find a good duck hunting spot. If it didn't cost me an arm and leg I would come down there to take you out. But the licenses are a killer for me. Jesse Thanks Jesse, I've already shelled out the b...

Re: IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!!!

Brittlver

You can count me in as confirmed for 5 birds.

The potential long term benefits I see here far outweigh the short term conflict for me.

Thanks again for this opportunity.

Re: IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!!!

Hey Guys, Is the July 30th date set ? That's the same day as the waterfowl blind site drawing for the Fox Chain, and I need to be there because I have no other real duck hunting options. Brittlver, If you guys change the date, I can be there and will use 5 birds, if not, I won't need those birds. B...

Re: Help a novice with his english springer spaniel...

I have to echo the other replies here. My ESS is very young, (9 months) and we take him to the dog park almost every evening. At the park, he runs free with the other dogs, jumping into the kiddie pools, head held high, etc. But when we're out training in the cover, he reverts right back to his hunt...

Re: IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!!!

Hello All, I'm the new guy who'll be attending. My name is Pat and my 9 month old ESS is Buster. We live in McHenry County. I've been training Buster on my own as I can't afford to send him away to "camp" so this opportunity is golden for us. I've been working with him since he's been 10 weeks old, ...

Re: Gun shot training

My English Springer is 9 months old now. I started him off very young by banging pots while he was eating, (that never bothered him). The we used to play fetch in the hallway with a capgun, (no reaction either) Still haven't moved up to gunfire yet because we've been busy doing field work. But he pa...
