I have been running GoPro Knock offs with good success. Got a couple extra batteries, micro SD cards. Turn on / off only during a point to save battery and SD card space. Resolution is adequate for what I am doing. See examples http://www.jamiebrooks.com/StoriesVideos.html. I run 2 at a time (Me and...

The solution to your issue is in your own post..."Mac"

I have suggested to several associates who were having issues with their Alpha to switch to PC, ALL have reported back that they are now good to go. Especially with updating, basecamp and the unit acting up.

Vet tech here. Pads are tricky to suture as its easy for dogs to get to them and pull sutures out. You want it to dry out. I always keep skin glue around and antiseptic scrub like clorhexadine. It can only be glued shortly after. Do not use peroxide as it will cause the skin to become necrotic. the...

For those having lag time...perhaps connect collar and Handheld to a PC and update both. Avoid a Mac, couple friends with Mac had issues after updating, had to hook up to my PC to update and fix.

The unit should work as soon as linked to the collar, you should not need to "test" it a few times for it to work. Perhaps updating the software on both the collar and handheld will help?
