My GWP is not a trial dog,first off. Very rarely in my case does a wild pheasant hit the ground dead after being shot. Just got back from KS-Colo border. My GWP was turned into a flushing lab, by the way the pheasants were bunched up. He was having a ball, diving into a tank dam and 20-40 birds would get up. Old front wheel motorcycle tube. cut into about 10 inch lengths, slits on one end to enable to slide over foot, gauze & duct
