I know its been a long time but Ive been busy, recently moved to Colorado. Ive got him bumping alit less birds, I definitely find not shooting them when he bumped had helped alot. hes been getting better, I still need to reinforce woah better, using a table and/or woah post. But he definitely understands the cycled, it flushes, i shoot, THEN he runs after it...... I took him out today and he did great he didnt flush any himself.

Yes that is the place! I am not far from there. I got my dog from knine, and Arlette really helps me out. I train him on their property as much as I can.

I totally agree guys, that was my mistake shooting at the flushed bird. Norcal, that is a great tip, I never thought of that, I need to make sure these birds are going to fly when we get near them. I have heard people start out their dogs on wild birds because they flush quicker. I am in Arizona tho...

If you are looking for a good wingmaster call the pawn shops in Chandler. Someone will have one. Just go down the list. I went gun shopping at pawn shops in Chandler, found one store that had two wingmasters (this was a year ago), one of them my buddy bought. Definitely do not buy a remington expres...

I have a Winchester SX3 composite 12ga and I love it. Best semi auto I have ever handled. It just "feels right" and comes with adjustable shims and pad extensions. Its been in rain and snow, no rust. Unlike when I once had a remington 870, a couple days of wetness in TN turkey hunting, it turned bro...
