hes been getting better, I still need to reinforce woah better, using a table and/or woah post. But he definitely understands the cycled, it flushes, i shoot, THEN he runs after it...... I took him out today and he did great he didnt flush any himself.

Yes that is the place! I am not far from there. I got my dog from knine, and Arlette really helps me out. I train him on their property as much as I can.

I totally agree guys, that was my mistake shooting at the flushed bird. Norcal, that is a great tip, I never thought of that, I need to make sure these birds are going to fly when we get near them. I have heard people start out their dogs on wild birds because they flush quicker. I am in Arizona tho...
