The group I hunt with there are 6 people, and 8 dogs. 2 labs, 1 weimy, 1 brittney, and 4 GSP's. It works really well, the pointers range out farther, and the flushers work close. Hey guys, figured I should post an intro.

From the Fargo, ND area and have a fantastic (for what I want her to do) black lab. Mostly an upland hunter, but get into ducks and geese before the pheasant season opens.

Yep, I had (and still have) an electric wire around the kennel the day my pup was put in there.
Works wonders on keeping her from digging under the fence.

One of the guys I hunt with uses the hawk scream on his GSP's. Don't know what effect it has on the birds, but the labs know exactly what it means! The pointers found one, so lets get over there and flush it so we can retrieve it!

We do a little duck hunting, but it's mostly something we do to kill time until pheasant opens. Granted, if numbers are down as bad as they are saying, we may be doing a bit more this year

I thought about picking some up, as it was on sale as Scheels for $14.99/box. Then I looked across the isle and saw Fiocchi pheasant max shells on sale for $7.99. Figured I could shoot 2 to 1 with the Fiocchi's and still come out about even.

One of my hunting buddies has 2 females. Both are right around the 45lb range, one is 5, the other is 13.
