Re: Struvite Crystals In Urine
I had a GSP years ago that had those crystals problem. I noticed he was straining to pee. Long story short, Took him to my vet and they Rotor Rootered him up his penis, got a ton of crystals out and he was good the rest of his life.
Re: Memories
I'm 91 now, can't hunt any more. Last hunt was last December, I was 90 then. But boy do I have many memories of 70 years of hunting over dogs.

dried pee in kennel
Here's one for you guys..I just recently got a 8 month old female pup. The question is that when she pees in the kennel (cement floor) I wash it down with other kennels, but when her side of the kennel dries the cement has white chalky look to it. Any words to the wise?

The ProPlan I feed has Glucosamine in it but I have still started to supplement my 5 1/2 year old Brittany with Nutramax Cosequin Maximum Strength that contains 600 mg of Glucosamine and 300 mg of Chondroitin. I get it in chewable form, break a tablet in half and add it to her food. She eats it rig...

They get bold during their breeding season which is starting now or soon. We have had dogs out on the prairies this time of the year or a little later and have had a couple follow us and be barking all the while. Rest of the time they stay far away and are real spooky....Art

I have using Nutomax Cosequin Max for years. Really helps dog joints. I have a 13 year old GSP and she gets around like a 4 year old. You can buy it over the counter. Has worked for me.

Thanks Garrison. Don't see any difference in nutrition. I've been feeding the Salmon but it's hard to find, so I think I'll change over to the Chicken.
