Re: Setter vs Brittany?
Guys, i mentioned this before. Just look at the position of the persons forward knee who is holding the Britt. I actually got a tape measure and measured my knee in that position. With my knee up, and slightly forward my ankle, the top of my knee measured 20.5 inches, the max for the standard at the...

Purely joking, but isn't a britt a setter with a docked tail who can't run like a setter?   Purely a observation. When have Britts become considerably larger than male GSP and Pointers? The picture of the final 4 at AKC Nationals looks odd. Thats what you get when you forget there i...

I have learned that when you go to pick up your dog from your trainer (if you use one), you may find that your dog might do everything perfect for your trainer,,,but that won't necessarily be true when you get your dog out to work for you. I have had to let my dogs know that i too know how to work t...

Don"t think about it...do it. Good way to see where your dog is at. Got my 1 1/2 yr old male in his first trial coming up in 3 weeks. Things to consider: How is your dog around other dogs? How is your dog around ATV's or horses? Also, remember other competitors may do things to throw your dog off, s...

Looking for a place online to buy a good 2 dog box for my full sized truck. Would like one with storage on the top with enough room for shotguns, training equiptment, ect....
Prefer one that mounts on the bed rails, but depends on the cost.
Thanks in advance.

I chose the Brittany for his medium size and grouse hunting. Fits in the car and home nicely yet goes like heck in the woods. Just to clearify, a Brittany is a small dog not a medium sized dog. Any animal under 35lbs is a rodent not a dog IMO. :D Lol, my female Britt is 36 lbs and my male about 39....

NSTRA awards championships, and multiple championships can be awarded to a dog. To become a champion the dog needs 18 points, 9 of which need to be from first place wins. Full rules here http://nstra.org/files/RuleBook.pdf . In a full (24 - 32 dog) trial, 3 placements are given out 3pts for 1st, 2p...
