Re: Wanted to know if awd drive can handle tough road condtions
It really depends on the roads you are going to travel in. I have a lifted subaru that's awd it will handle some mud and rocky terrain. The clearance of the subaru allows me to ride over some rocky and bushy terrain and not hit anything. I also have a toyota pick up and when I want to climb to the t...

I really like hunting after a snow. Looking at the tracks in the ground. you do not have to carry as much water for the dogs. My dogs often get cut in the legs, feet and pads as they cannot see where they step. We hunt in a lot of sharp lave rocks. I do not like to hunt while it is snowing. I think y...

Nice looking day. Looks like you have done your homework. For all the people I talk to, you are the only one in this state shooting those devil birds. The only reason I am finding birds is that I am hiking at elevations of 8000 to 9000 ft . That is were the green up is. I have gone to my honey hole...

I am asking the vet chukar hunters how do you and your dogs recover after a 5 to 6 hour hunt in the hills. I and my pups try to stay in shape all year. I am lucky to live near hills and birds. Lately I have been feeling soar after the hunts. We usually hunt for about 5 to 6 hours. We hunt hard and h...

No reason.... Our DFG traded as many chukar as they could trap and sent them to NV in trade for some desert big horn sheep which prob fell as a meal for our protected and over populated mountain lions...... I would recommend a Yildiz 20gauge o/u. its a cheap gun but it sure looks nice and goes bang, bang. Hi daak08, What I have to say is just my opinion. It is not too late to train. The first thing you have to due is build a bond with this dog. If the dog is going to do things for you ( find, point, retreive birds and come when call) it must trust you. People make the mistake of wanting to train an o...
