From what I have heard they are running 10 braces per day instead of the usual 12 braces.

They said it's been hot and that has been hard on the dogs.

Dude is from the second breeding of Joke / Flame.
Dude's only 27 months old.

Joker won the ASD last year and his son is following in his fathers footsteps.

I will bet this is just the first of many wins for this young dog.

That is what I was told. Running was postponed for the afternoon braces today due to the high temperatures that were near 90. Heard that there were a few outstanding braces yesterday and only two dogs got around clean with good bird work this morning.

Talked to a friend that is on the grounds, stopped running due to the heat.
Not certain what brace they are on as of lunch time today.
Heard that lots of dogs crashing or being scratched due to a variety of reasons.

I believe that if a dog shows up at a Championship that they should be in shape and able to run in the heat. Living in Texas 87 degrees is not hot to me. Take extra water out on course with you. I would be more concerned for an out of shape horse in the heat than a dog that should be in shape to run...

Why do you think it's unfair to breed a 7 year old bitch? She is still in the prime of her life and trial career. Unless she has underlying medical issues she is not too old to breed. I would find a great stud that compliments her pedigree and fills in her weakness and do a breeding and keep a puppy...
