All I can tell you is my buddy and I saw more birds than ever before, and all the guys I ran into were doing the same. Limits were common on pheasants, and we got into to 2-3 covies of quail every day. Hunted lots of WIHAs around Hodgeman, Kiowa, and Pawnee counties. Hunted 6 full days and only fail...

Thanks Bossman. I love Tritronics and love being able to activate the beeper function from the remote when a dog is lost in heavy cover on point. Fair enough. Benelli, Berretta and Franchi are all good choices. You can also find the Remington 1100 LT-20 if she likes those.

The youth market has grown a fair amount in recent years. Lots of good choices.

I'm just curious how many days a year folks can get out and hunt with their dogs. I, myself get out around 100 days a year and that's just for upland and it's all wild birds. :D Now you are making me sick. :wink: Quit rubbing it in. The difference depends on the gauge. If you chose a 12 or 20, the Redhead will have ejectors instead of extractors. In all other gauges the guns are the same - extractors.
