What are yall thoughts or past experience of hunting a dog that is 50 days into her pregnancy cycle?

I bow hunt the Shawnee and saw a lot of quail and will be moving up there soon. I currently live in north carolina

Has anybody had any luck coming across quail in the Shawnee in Illinois. I have been told they have re introduced the quail there and are doing very well.

My shorthair is just obessed with birds. hey thats a good thing though.

Is it a common thing for a bird dog to be so obessed with birds to look out a window and shake when she sees birds in the back yard? I think if i didnt let her out she would stay there for hours and watch the birds.

I have placed her in 3 fun trials and won 2 of them. I just hunt her and i plan on breeding to a good all around hunting dog. they fly and she is just as soild on a wild bird as you have ever seen! but not many wild birds around!

my two year old shorthair has started a new habit of flash point and circle the bird. they are pen raised birds. not sure why she is doing this she use to be soild to be soild to flush and shot but for some reason she has started this. any tips to why she is doing this?

went to my first fun trial yesterday and brought my yr old gsp and ran her in puppy and derby and took home 2nd and 3rd really proud of her. SHE DID GREAT!!!!

we killed 17 because i had 2 guys say they would buy birds if i brought my dog so i figured it would be good to get her on as many birds as possible. is it a bad thing that i killed 17 just wondering

went out today and killed 17 birds held every point was an awsome time. last point of the day i was taking my vest off and she was still hunting and went on point i had time to walk to the truck get a gun load it and walk back and shoot it very proud today did great
