Here you go. This is THE BEST documentary I've seen done and says everything about what I'm trying to say. If you've got an hour give this a watch. Well worth it and only available free on line for a short time longer.

Re: Great Lakes Wolf Hunting
Thus why we have the "thrill killing" of the Canadian Grey Wolf which hunts most of the time just for thrill and practice if you will. Countless numbers of elk kills are come across every year that are barely eaten. Even without "thrill killing", which wolves do, a typical Wi. wolf eats the equival...

Re: Great Lakes Wolf Hunting
I know the northern animals are larger by necessity but that doesn't mean it is a different spiece. I had never heard they were different. Ezzy It's common knowledge in these parts. Like mentioned above we had the Rocky Mtn Wolf....similar in size to the smaller timber wolf. What was introduced was...

Re: Late Season Pheasants in N. CO
One of my buddies just took a trip to Northern Colorado and said he saw well over 100 pheasants in 2 days. Is the season still open? I can ask him where he went for you if you would like ???

Re: Great Lakes Wolf Hunting
Am i the only person here from a state that had the CANADIAN grey wolf introduction (not reintroduction). This issue has been tossed around so many times on all of the other forums I'm on I thought surely someone would bring that point up. Not to be argumentative, but these wolves were not killed in...

Re: Late Season Pheasants in N. CO
I haven't heard anything but I live in Southern, Wyoming....If you do get into any I would appreciate a report back. I definitely wouldn't say no to a late season pheasant hunt close to home!

Re: Make the WHINING STOP!!!!
I am new to this site and probably won't EVER have much advice to the dog training world as I am new to that myself....but in this case I think I can make an exception because I deal with this with my dog (just over a year old...15 months). He's done it forever and I honestly think it's a sense of "...

Re: Hate to be like everybody else....but looking for advice! :)
sounds good to me. I'd love to get on some quail and other species. I have permission for geese on some private property but this is the first year I've had permission for it and never even hunted it...it's 2 hours away. Otherwise, public land around here all the way. Come during sage grouse season ...

Re: Hate to be like everybody else....but looking for advice! :)
Thank you for the responses everyone. I did plan on buying a few dvds this winter. Are those two that everyone would suggest. Secondly, Idon't want to come off as stubborn and this might be a stupid question but is saying "mine" that bad? It just seemed to come to mind when training and he now drops...

Hate to be like everybody else....but looking for advice! :)
Hey guys, new to the forum and training dogs (like most who have posted on this board). I've read a ton the last few days on this forum and have already learned quite a bit of new knowledge! Got a GWP back in December of 2010 and only have had one year of training under both of our belts! I hunt wat...
