Re: Most Famous EP Bloodlines Still Readily Available?
I'd also like to steer clear of lines that have a propensity for health issues, conformation flaws (underbites, etc.), and other issues. I realize all lines will have some of this, but also know some are more likely to exhibit them within a particular line. I'm aware of some proven lines/dogs in my...

Re: Weight restrictions
Btw if the owners of those two dogs got "in their head" early in the hunt and controlled them to work slower (which is possible) the probably wouldnt have been running out of control In a confined area??? You want them to hint smart, smart in open land is hard fast and diligently.... If j want mine...

Re: Broke Or Not Broke
A broke dog is a trained dog. Broke is steady to flush and the dog brings the bird to hand or puts it in a general location.......everything else is lipstick on the pig. No offense to the field trialers....but the the old time and modern southern trainers brake their dogs to flush and bringing the b...

Re: one or two barells?
Buy yourself a gun you can afford. Doubles are a joy to shoot! The modern doubles, either s/s or o/u, are great. They have selector safeties, that allow you to change barrels. If you are close use the open barrel if not use the tighter barrel. The vintage guns are limited to the choke system they hav...

A e-collar never trained anything..... PLEASE get some help and learn to use it correctly if you don't know how or are unsure. There are lots of folks that would help you. Used correctly they can do a great service in breaking an undesirable habit before it becomes a habit. A dog will mind and respe...

Plenty o' good bearded hounds out this way - clean shaven and tail not required!! your fishin' videos are killin' me too. Won't be long and ...

Re: My puppy is growing up!!
Well I realized as I was out letting Maggie explore the Iowa "Wilderness" that I haven't put up any photos of her lately. Last time I posted photos she was 10 lbs. Today she is weighing in at 23 lbs and is 4 months old. Enjoy...no birds were planted she was just "having fun" Her watching geese that...
