Re: Weird question.

I've never heard of a pup that young needing his anal glands expressed. Maybe he got his nails trimmed/done? I know I always clip their nails when they are young, puppy nails are sharp!! Also, how sure are you that she said "what's" and not just "what"? Because if it's not plural I'd bet it's the mi...

Re: Wound care and honey

I was wondering if anyone has used honey in caring for wounds. It's an anti-bacterial/antimicrobial agent. I used it when one of my dogs had an infection on the suture line of a surgery. It worked nicely. I know some of the vets around ere are using it more in wound care. Just curious if anyone had...

Re: Gun Dog Forum and Facebook

DogNewbie +1 Also the a link to GDF is already in ur Bio, no need to add a link everytime u post. When advertising Litters it might be a good idea to post a picture of the pup or pups. That would catch the eye of dog lovers and possibly get more followers. For twitter 1-3 tweets a day is fine. it ca...

We have one, come check us out @gundogforum
I'm now following GDF, the account is only 8 days old. No wonder I didn't find it a few weeks back when I checked.

How do most dogs react to the shock? I have never seen an e-collar used and will have to before I form an opinion.

Re: some kind of grass travelling through dog"s body?

Ummm: MrJFH: is that kinda' like what happens if you swallow a watermelon seed? It grows in your stomach? Or are you being serious? Either way, your story is weird but oddly entertaining. :D Lol I'm serious. I think it has to do with the oxygen and humidity in the lungs. I'll have to find a link an...

Re: some kind of grass travelling through dog"s body?

I saw this on t.v. Once, it happened to a older man he was eating peas and one of the peas went down the wrong pipe and ended up in his lung. A few weeks later he was having trouble breathing. Doctors found a plant growing in his lung.....maybe it's the same thing?
